Be Alert “Be watchful”

Be Aligned “stand firm in the faith”

Be Accountable “act like men” this term was used by soldiers in 1 Samuel to prepare one another for battle. They were basically telling the other to be courageous.

Men respond to failure either through withdraw or aggression. Respond to failure through Christ!

We are trending as a society toward low commitment, yet want to be complimented without accountability. What does it mean to act like a man?

Ephesians 5:25 “Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her”

A life of sacrifice!

Men, do not allow manhood to ‘be catch by culture’; teach it, instilling biblical insight, into your children.

Be Agile “Be strong”

I’m not necessarily talking about physical strength or physical agility. Strength comes from Christ! Lean into your weakness! Don’t reinvent, be reborn. Don’t do more, allow Christ to do it all!

Joshua 1:6-9 “Be strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land that I swore to their fathers to give them. 7 Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go. 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Be Affectionate “Let all that you do be done in love” v.14

Ephesians 6:4 “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” Every man is called to be a warrior, prophet, priest, and servant king. We are called to make much of Christ!
