John 12:15,18

Christ is Our Sign

Isaiah 7:14  “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
 
Philippians 2:6-7

6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.

Christ is Our Savior

Romans 5:8 “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

   Worship is the action of thankfulness.

   We worship through praise.
Psalm 96:1-2 “Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! 2 Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day.”
   We worship through prayer.
Philippians 4:6-7 “6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
   We worship through proclamation.
The study of scripture, witnessing, and missions. Psalm 96:3-4 “Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! 4 For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods.”

 

9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name,

Christ is Our Supremacy

Colossians 1:16-18 “16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.”

Philippians 2:10-11

10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Psalm 119:10 With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!
