What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him?

Dear Father, please grow me each day according to your will, that my desire to live as Jesus is seen through my actions.

For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.

Dear Lord, thank you for your Spirit working in me. Please convict me to listen and follow your will daily.

Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.

Heavenly Father, please fill me with an unquenchable desire to live in a way that produces fruit for your Kingdom and blessings for others.

Thursday, August 6, 2015                 …              Matthew 25:35-36 (ESV)

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’

Dear Lord, please open my eyes to the needs of others, and convict me to act on those needs, not only by giving, but by doing.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Dear Heavenly Father, grow me & stretch me so that I will have stories to share with others of your amazing faithfulness. Lead me to shine your light in a way that points others to you.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.

Dear Lord, thank you for the honor of being your hands and feet. Guard me from laziness, selfishness, and self-interest that could hold me back.
