Dear Lord, please guide me daily to respond to my earthly leaders according
to your will, and help me remember that You have allowed them authority.  Thank you for providing me with the power to control my tongue in order to use my words for your glory. Please burden me with a deep desire to use that power to control my tongue today and every day.  As You provide instruction for times of disagreement or conflict, I pray for the courage to follow that instruction in every area of my life.  Heavenly Father, please keep me mindful daily of the effect that my words will have on those around me, and guide me to help build up, and not tear down.  Please grow me each day to be more and more like my lord Jesus; to speak to those around me out of sincere, impartial reason in peace and love.  Dear Father, please embolden me to use my tongue to share the news of your everlasting mercy and love
to those around me.   Amen.
